The students from Medicine & Healthcare had a pleasure meeting Dr. Kevin O’Connor, a physician and retired U.S. Army Colonel serving as the physician to the president. During the session he shared information about his medical career, experiences, and the responsibilities of caring for a high-profile individual. The students were inspired by his journey and learned about the challenges and rewards of practicing medicine in various settings, including his role in providing healthcare to a prominent political figure. Dr. O’Connor’s talk left the students asking questions and wanting to take pictures with him. He lastly motivating them to pursue their own careers in the medical field with determination and passion.
