Today, the Forensic Science students are privileged to have guest speaker Dr. Kristiza Giese, a pathologist from the D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Dr. Giese shares her expertise in forensic pathology, providing valuable insights into the investigation of suspicious deaths and the role of pathology in criminal cases. Through this session, students gain a deeper understanding of the crucial role that forensic pathologists play in determining the cause and manner of death, enriching their knowledge of forensic science and its applications in the legal system.
