This morning, the Medicine Intensive students embark on an enriching field trip to a park, where they delve into the world of wilderness medicine. During this hands-on experience, they learn essential survival and first-aid skills in outdoor settings, such as treating injuries, managing emergencies, and improvising medical resources. This field trip equips students with the knowledge and adaptability needed to respond effectively to medical challenges in remote and nature-based environments, further enhancing their capabilities as future healthcare professionals.
