Dr. Nicole Lang, a board certified pediatrician spoke to the Nursing & Medicine & Health programs. The students listened while Dr. Nicole gave a lecture her experiences in pediatrics and imparts wise counsel on pursuing a career in medicine and healthcare. At a point in the lecture, Dr. Nicole wanted the students to write inspirational words to help each other keep going in life. Then, she closed the lecture with breathing techniques to give students a reminder to always take a breather under pressure. The students were lectured well and hope that Dr. Nicole gave the students a brief look into the challenges faced by healthcare professionals on a daily basis and what they can do to power through the days.
