Students in the Medicine and Healthcare track had the opportunity to dissect cow eyes and sheep hearts this morning. Along with the dissection, they learned about how the optic nerve and blind spots work, as well as proper protocol for handling dissection materials. They started with the cow eye, identifying each part before moving on to learning about the intricacies of hearts and valves.
