At the University of Maryland, the Medicine Intensive students go out on a thrilling rope course expedition where they develop their collaboration and friendship. Together, they overcome difficult barriers and develop their ability to speak clearly, have faith in one another, and work efficiently under pressure. This practical exercise helps participants develop their resilience and problem-solving abilities as well as a sense of support and community inside the program, laying the groundwork for future teamwork in the medical industry.
