This afternoon, the Psychology & Neuroscience students completed their session-long clinical diagnostic simulation (CDS) by presenting their “patients” their final diagnoses. For the past week, the TAs had acted as patients with various mental disorders. It was the job of the students, as the physicians, to ask questions and conduct extensive research to determine which disorder each patient had. Today, they were able to reveal their final conclusions and receive feedback on their research and bedside manner. The students were largely successful and loved this activity, as it gave them a unique look into psychology in the real world!
