The Journalism students went to the National Press Club to get a closer look into the Journalism world. They were given a tour prior to arriving and the student got a sense of what it’s like to be a journalist. Guided by the industry professionals, they gained insights into the inner workings of media organizations and witness firsthand the fast-paced nature of reporting. They were then brought into a conference room where they engaged in discussions, learned about the ethical challenges faced by journalists and the importance of accurate and unbiased reporting. This trip helped the students learn what it would be like in the role they will play in shaping the future of journalism.
