The broadcasting students went live as a newsroom simulation presenting videos from interviews and what they’ve learned within the program. The students stepped into the shoes of professional reporters as they experienced what it’s like to be in a real-life newsroom experience. The students held various roles, including editors, reporters, and researchers. Collaboratively, they created a successful newsroom. The newsroom simulation challenged them to make critical decisions, prioritize information, and adapt to evolving situations, preparing them for the dynamic world of journalism. Through this hands-on experience, students developed an appreciation in a demanding nature of the industry.
