Today, the Medicine Intensive students had the opportunity to participate in a college panel hosted by their TAs. They could ask any questions pertaining to college applications, decisions, involvement, and life. Many of their TAs major or majored in the STEM fields that these students are interested in and represent a variety of schools, from Vanderbilt and Swarthmore to the University of Virginia and Florida Atlantic University. It was an amazing opportunity to relieve some of the students’ stress and worries about college and help them realize that there is a bright and exciting future ahead of them!
