Students in the Biotech program at NSLC began their day where they explore gel electrophoresis and explore the mysteries of DNA separation. Later, after practicing molecular biology procedures, they explore into the field of genetics by obtaining DNA from strawberries. Students finish the day with an exciting dissection of a cow’s eye, expanding their knowledge of ocular anatomy and its uses in biotechnology and medical research.
