Forensic Science students transported and examined their fingerprints on different surfaces and learned what it’s like to stop drug crimes. In the fingerprinting lesson, they learned about the unique ridge patterns to identifying points, gained an understanding of the science behind this essential investigative tool. The students in the Chemistry part of the program were given the chance to identify illicit substances. From analyzing unknown samples to conducting color tests and looking at a real time crime scene they were informed on the importance of drug analysis.
