Students in the NSLC Biotech program spend their time in an engaging lab that focuses on the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). They discover the fundamentals of DNA amplification using their own cheek cells, enabling them to examine and work with certain genetic sequences for diverse purposes. They also engage in a fun breadboard activity that helps them develop their electronic and circuit design skills while also deepening their awareness of how biotechnology and engineering overlap.
