The Medicine Intensive students took full advantage of their opportunity to explore the city they have been calling home for the past two weeks with a trip to Capitol Hill yesterday. They got lunch at the iconic food trucks, ventured into DC’s many incredible museums including the Smithsonian, the U.S. Botanical Gardens, and the American Indian Museum, as well as explored the beautiful lawns and architecture of the capitol buildings themselves. It was an amazing experience for the students to learn and explore the city together!
