To prepare them for their CPR certification training that starts tomorrow afternoon, the Medicine Intensive students listened to a thorough lecture on how to perform this life-saving procedure on adults, children, and infants in a variety of scenarios. They heard from one of their TAs, observed a powerpoint presentation, and watched a handful of engaging videos explaining to them the exact steps of how to perform CPR to an unconscious patient and the Heimlich maneuver to a choking patient. After this presentation today, the students are so happy and excited to get started with hands-on training tomorrow!
