The students in the Journalism program took a nice trip to WAMU 88.5, a renowned radio station in D.C. representing American University. As they stepped into the building, they were guided by several workers within the station. Led by experienced radio professionals, the students were treated to an inside experience, diving into the spaces where broadcasting and storytelling take place. The students had the opportunity to step into the podcast and audio studios where they got to see a worker in action! Also, many of the students were able to get free books from a section at the station. They were inspired by the behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of radio production, hoping this would ignite dreams of becoming future voices that captivate audiences with stories that matter.
