The Medicine Intensive program dove into their second session of clinical rounds today, focusing on EEGs (electroencephalograms), pharmacology, and medical terminology. The TAs all presented a short lecture to give students a sound foundation in these topics. In the pharmacology section, students were also able to mimic real pharmacy work by using a tablet and hand-held device to separate pills (M&Ms) and put them into pill bottles. It was a valuable experience, and everyone enjoyed learning about these interesting areas of the medical field.
