This afternoon, the Medicine Intensive students tried their hand at spine boarding, performed a laparoscopy simulation, took each other’s vitals, and learned about different elements of sports medicine during their first clinical rounds. They were able to experiment with these newly learned skills by utilizing braces, wraps, stretchers, stethoscopes, blood pressure wraps, and more for a hard-to-find and incredible hands-on experience in the medical field!
