Today, MINT students went to The University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma Center, the #1 trauma center in the country! There had the opportunity to examine preserved donor organs to learn more about different body systems/functions, and they also participated in a shock trauma simulation lab where they practiced different scenarios and how to intubate.
