Blockchain. You probably know it has to do with cryptocurrency but that’s the extent of your knowledge.  Well, if that’s you then you’re like most people.  Blockchain is a new type of technology whose popularity has risen in tandem with that of cryptocurrency.  Some believe it’s the future, others not so much. This morning, cybersecurity students were able to learn how blockchain is used to make secure transactions, create a public ledger, and act as a third party in negotiations.
