Today, students in the HEAL program participated in a clinical diagnostic simulation (CDS). Medical simulation allow for the acquisition of clinical skills through deliberate practice rather than an apprentice-style of learning. As opposed to the real world, a trainee can make mistakes and learn from them without the fear of harming the patient in a CDS.
