Today, the Intelligence & National Security program met for the second time in their National Security Council groups. In this simulation, the students each take on the role of a different governmental department, like the Secretary of the Treasury, Director of Homeland Security, and more. They take on the responsibilities and perspectives of each of these roles, but must work together in order to cohesively and effectively address the situation at hand. This simulation gives students an insight into what it is really like working in a high-pressure situation, where you have to think fast, yet respond responsibly and comprehensively.
