Four teams of Architecture students competed against the clock to build a sturdy bridge in less than an hour, with only popsicle sticks and tape. Despite the time crunch, the students built impressive bridges, each exemplifying a different building strategy. Then, the bridges were put to the test, as the TAs measured the force it would take to break each bridge. In the end, each bridge did inevitably fall, but the lessons learned during this challenge (and the teams’ pride in their bridges) will last!
