After days of preparation in Senate and Campaign simulations, POLI students had a mock debate today with nominees for President and Vice President facing each other, representing the Democratic and Republican parties. Much like a real debate, they were asked questions on various political topics such as the environment, gun control, Covid-19 policies, and economics. It started off with Vice Presidential nominees, and later the Presidential nominees.
